This programme has existed since August 2006.
Goal: Promoting and ensuring improvement in the health of women and children from marginalized Delhi slums.
Two learning centres were opened for children who don't attend school on medical ground; one health check up is conducted every month at these centres.
Every child studying at Sakshi's centres are diagonized by five MBBS doctors every month and are availed with medicines.
Each month a workshop for their Mothers is organized with the help of a Resource Person from Jamia Millia Islamia University (Department of Home Science) and RAK Nursing Collage, Government of India. The concerned women are assisted with the information to prepare nutrient food, family planning, and to prevent HIV/AIDS.
- A daily family planning centre for men and women is also led by a social worker at Jasola Village, New Delhi.
- Two health camps are organized each year (2 days each) with the help of a medical team.
